About St John’s Gibraltar

Mission Statement

Our mission is growth in faith and active membership through worship, learning, fellowship, and outreach by caring for one another, welcoming all people, and joyfully sharing our time, talents, and treasures.

Who we are

St. John’s is a local community, family centered, congregation built on the solid rock of Christ existing since 1793. We are a small congregation with close ties to our community and it’s people, drawing members from Gibraltar, Robeson Township, Exeter Township, Birdsboro, and beyond. Our current building along the Schuylkill River was opened in 1965. We have an average attendance of about 50 people and around 140 on our parish roles.

We hold a traditional Lutheran service using the LBW (Lutheran Book of Worship) each Sunday at 10:15 a.m. (9:30 am June-August), and offer a Sunday School program for children and adults. We also hold Vacation Bible School over the Summer.
